FDA has granted both Breakthrough Device and Targeted Acceleration Pathway designations to Phantom Neuro’s Phantom X platform. The company [describes](https://www.prnewswire.com/news-releases/phantom-neuro-receives-fda-breakthrough-device-and-tap-designations-solidifying-position-as-a-neurotech-leader-302394079.html?ref=fdaweb.com) the platform as a “minimally invasive neural interface providing intuitive control of prosthetics and robotic devices.” It says Phantom X uses sophisticated algorithms to decode natural human movement, providing a seamless near-human experience when controlling prosthetic limbs and assistive technologies.
