A Better Life Marketing Unapproved ‘Stem Cell Therapy’: FDA

The CBER Office of Compliance and Biologics Quality says A Better Life Stem Cell Center, Las Vegas, NV, is marketing cellular products that appear to be derived from umbilical cord or umbilical cord blood that A Better Life refers to as “stem cell therapy” for numerous diseases or conditions such as diabetes and Crohn’s disease. A 7/14 Notice of Violation says such products are legally regulated as drugs and biologic products and cannot be marketed without a valid BLA or IND.

A Better Life was told to respond to the Notice of Violation within 30 days.
