The House Energy and Commerce Committee Health Subcommittee has scheduled a 7/16 public hearing titled “Legislative Proposals to Maintain and Improve the Public Health Workforce, Rural Health, and Over-the-Counter Medicines.” Energy and Commerce Committee chair **Brett Guthrie** (R-KY) and Health Subcommittee chairman-designate **Morgan Griffith** (R-VA) said, “These vital public health programs play a critical role in improving health care for Americans. Programs like the Over-the-Counter Monograph Drug User Fee Program are crucial to ensure patient access to safe over-the-counter products.”
