FDA has announced a 5/20 Webinar to share information and answer questions about its medical device Accreditation Scheme for Conformity Assessment (ASCA) Pilot. Under the pilot, the agency grants *ASCA recognition* to qualified accreditation bodies to accredit testing laboratories to perform premarket testing for medical device companies. The Webinar ([see details](https://www.fda.gov/medical-devices/workshops-conferences-medical-devices/webinar-asca-pilot-streamlining-conformity-assessment-device-submissions?ref=fdaweb.com)) is intended to share strategies for successful participation in the pilot and explain how manufacturers should prepare premarket submissions for medical devices with testing from ASCA-accredited testing laboratories.
