# Advanced Compounding Hit With FDA-483

FDA has posted a [seven-item Form FDA-483](https://www.fda.gov/media/162647/download?ref=fdaweb.com) from an inspection of New England Life Care (dba Advanced Compounding Solutions) earlier this year. During the inspection, the agency cited the firm’s failure to thoroughly review any unexplained discrepancy and the failure of a batch or any of its components to meet any of its specifications. It also took issue with New England Life not following its procedures designed to prevent microbiological contamination and aseptic processing-related deficiencies, among others.
