Advancing RWE Program Deadline Coming

FDA is reminding product sponsors that the deadline for the second submission cycle of its Advancing Real-World Evidence (RWE) program is 9/30. For selected sponsors, the program provides an opportunity to meet with staff from CDER, CBER, and the Oncology Center of Excellence, before protocol development or study initiation, to discuss the use of RWE in medical product development.

Information about the program is on its Web site. FDA says it has now added to the Web site a section on Frequently Asked Questions that were received during the first submission cycle that ended on 3/31.
