American Global Selling Unapproved AloeCure Products: FDA

FDA says its review of the Web site and Facebook page maintained by American Global Health Products, Bellevue, WA, indicated the company takes order for several AloeCure brand products. A 1/22 Warning Letter says the company makes claims for the products that establish that they are intended for use in the cure, mitigation, treatment, or prevention of disease and thus are legally considered unapproved new drugs.

The letter says the products are not generally recognized as safe and effective for their intended uses. It also says the products are misbranded because they don’t have adequate directions for their intended use.

American Global was told to respond with a list of specific actions it has taken to correct the violations and prevent their recurrence, with copies of related documentation and a schedule for completing the actions.
