Asana Bio Proposes ASN002 Study in Atopic Dermatitis

FDA has accepted an Asana BioSciences IND for ASN002, a novel dual SYK-JAK inhibitor, for treating atopic dermatitis. In the submission, the company proposes a Phase I randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled, multiple dose escalation study to evaluate the therapy’s safety and tolerability as well as preliminary efficacy in subjects with moderate to severe atopic dermatitis. ASN002 is also being evaluated in a Phase 1-2 clinical trial in patients with non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma and solid tumors.
