Beaumont Bio Recalls ‘Contaminated’ Product Line

Beaumont Bio Med has recalled its entire aqueous/alcohol-based product line due to possible microbial contamination. All products are manufactured by contract manufacturer King Bio. “The administration or use of drug products with microbial contamination could potentially result in increased infections that may require medical intervention, and could result in infections that could be life threatening to certain individuals,” a recall notice says. To date, Beaumont says it has not received any related adverse event reports.
