bioMerieux has recalled its Vitek 2 AST P631 after customer reports indicate an increase in the rate of non-detected methicillin-resistant *Staphylococcus aureus*. The automated system comprises instruments, software and reagent cards designed for antimicrobial susceptibility testing of bacteria and yeast.
