Bipartisan Call to Update 21st Century Cures Act

Reps. Fred Upton (R-MI) and Diana DeGette (D-CO) have released their ideas for Cures 2.0 legislation to update the 21^st Century Cures Act. Upton and DeGette say (contains link to Cures 2.0 document) they are looking for feedback on their proposal and new ideas to consider adding to it.

They say Cures 2.0 would “aim to improve care delivery and look at how it is possible to modernize coverage and access to life-saving cures.” The two representatives say they have been working in a truly bipartisan, transparent, and collaborative manner, putting patients and their needs at the center of all discussions. They have been meeting with and gathering input from stakeholders and other experts, they say.
