BsUFA Reauthorization Steering Committee Ground Rules Set

FDA has released summaries of three FDA/industry steering committee meetings for reauthorization of the Biosimilar User Fee Act. The initial meetings set ground rules for negotiations and a virtual environment.

At the 3/16 meeting, the two sides discussed general rules for negotiations and virtual environment, FDA perspectives on reauthorization, and industry perspectives on reauthorization.

The 3/23 meeting covered the schedule for negotiation topics, inspection topics, and meeting management.

At the 3/30 meeting, the two sides looked at supplements and labeling for product safety updates, guidance development, and an update on the five-year financial plan.
