*Federal Register* notice: FDA has determined that Bristol Myers Squibb’s Buspar (buspirone HCl) was not withdrawn due to safety or effectiveness reasons. The determination will allow FDA to approve ANDAs that reference the product if all other legal and regulatory requirements are met. Buspar was originally approved 12/2000 for managing anxiety disorders or the short-term relief of the symptoms of anxiety.
