# Cambridge Cognition 510(k) for Alzheimer's Memory Detector

Cambridge Cognition has filed a 510(k) for its CANTAB Mobile, a device developed to detect episodic memory impairments in early stage Alzheimer's disease patients aged over 50\. The CANTAB technology contains a suite of the “world's most validated and sensitive touchscreen [neuropsychological tests of cognition](http://www.cambridgecognition.com/academic/cantabsuite/tests?ref=fdaweb.com), specifically designed to assess central nervous system disorders and cognitive function across a range of domains,” according to the company. “Using CANTAB technology ensures studies sensitively detect all effects, are easy to set up, administer and report - saving costs, reducing data errors and increasing the accuracy and validity of study results.”
