# CBER Planning 20 Guidances This Year

CBER has released a list of 20 guidances it is considering for development in this calendar year. The [notice](https://www.fda.gov/vaccines-blood-biologics/biologics-guidances/guidance-agenda-guidance-documents-cber-planning-publish-during-calendar-year-2019?ref=fdaweb.com) says the list includes topics that currently have no guidance associated with them, topics where updated guidance may be helpful, and topics for which CBER has already issued Level 1 draft guidance that may be finalized following review of public comments.

Categories and the number of proposed guidances in each are: Blood and Blood Components (8); Tissues and Advanced Therapies (10); and Other (2).
