# CDRH and Groups Pen Agreement on Device Cybersecurity

CDRH, the National Health Information Sharing and Analysis Center, and the Medical Device Innovation, Safety and Security Consortium have signed an agreement to collaborate in areas of mutual interest, such as sharing information on cybersecurity vulnerabilities that may affect medical devices or the integrity and security of the surrounding healthcare IT infrastructure. Under the agreement, the three organizations will develop awareness on a “Framework for Improving Critical Infrastructure Cybersecurity” and encourage stakeholders to adapt the framework for their organizations and products. Additionally, they say they will build a “foundation of trust” so that all healthcare technology and medical device stakeholders can directly benefit from the sharing of cybersecurity vulnerability and threat information.
