# CDRH Met or Exceeded Strategic Goals: Report

A CDRH report, “2018-2020 Strategic Priorities Accomplishments,” says the Center met, and in most cases exceeded, its strategic goals in the study period. The report highlights successes in four [areas](http://www.fda.gov/media/151423/download?ref=fdaweb.com): 

- **Novel Technologies:** The target was for 50% of novel technology manufacturers intending to bring their devices to the U.S. The result was that 62% of novel technology manufacturers said they intended to bring their devices to the U.S.
- **Employee Engagement, Opportunity, and Success:** The target was an 80% employee engagement level. The result was an 81% engagement level.
- **Simplicity:** The target was to improve 80% of CDRH processes. The result was an improvement in 86% of Center processes.
- **Collaborative Communities:** The target was for CDRH to participate in 10 collaborative communities. The result was participation in 12 communities.
