CDRH Met or Exceeded Strategic Goals: Report

A CDRH report, “2018-2020 Strategic Priorities Accomplishments,” says the Center met, and in most cases exceeded, its strategic goals in the study period. The report highlights successes in four areas: 

•          Novel Technologies: The target was for 50% of novel technology manufacturers intending to bring their devices to the U.S. The result was that 62% of novel technology manufacturers said they intended to bring their devices to the U.S.
•          Employee Engagement, Opportunity, and Success: The target was an 80% employee engagement level. The result was an 81% engagement level.
•          Simplicity: The target was to improve 80% of CDRH processes. The result was an improvement in 86% of Center processes.
•          Collaborative Communities: The target was for CDRH to participate in 10 collaborative communities. The result was participation in 12 communities.
