# CDRH Pilots Trial Participation Snapshots

CDRH is piloting medical device “trial participation snapshots” to provide “key information” about clinical trials that supported the agency’s approval of a new device. The pilot is part of the agency’s efforts to increase transparency around clinical trials and diversity in clinical trial participation. It is intended to highlight information about a device’s intended uses, benefits and risks, and the diversity of participants in the clinical trials. CDRH began [posting the snapshots](https://www.fda.gov/medical-devices/recently-approved-devices/device-trial-participation-snapshots?utm%5Fmedium=email&utm%5Fsource=govdelivery) this month and it is seeking comments from the public, which need to be submitted by 1/13/2025.
