# CDRH Unveils Organizational Changes, New Offices

CDRH is rolling out organizational changes that include new offices established within the Office of Product Evaluation and Quality. For example, the Office of In Vitro Diagnostics and Radiological Health is being split into two new offices — the Office of Health Technology 7 within the Office of In Vitro Diagnostics, and the Office of Health Technology 8 within the Office of Radiological Health. “The new structure will provide focused executive leadership and better meet the needs of stakeholder communities with divergent technologies and regulatory requirements,” a [CDRH notice](https://content.govdelivery.com/accounts/USFDA/bulletins/315a21f?ref=fdaweb.com) says.

The Center says the Office of Clinical Evidence and Analysis (OCEA) has realigned its work from two divisions into three. The just-created Division of Clinical Science and Outreach joins the Division of Clinical Policy and Quality and the Division of Biostatistics. And the Office of Regulatory Programs has created a fourth division, the Division of Regulatory Systems, Tools, and Data Management to “better invest in and support CDRH’s important work in digital transformation, electronic tools and templates, and to grow our market intelligence program,” it says.
