# CDRH Workshop on Device Consensus Standards

CDRH has announced a [4/13 workshop](https://www.fda.gov/medical-devices/workshops-conferences-medical-devices/cdrh-industry-basics-workshop-consensus-standards-and-accreditation-scheme-conformity-assessment?ref=fdaweb.com#event-information) on how medical device developers can use consensus standards in premarket submissions. It will also discuss the agency’s Accreditation Scheme for Conformity Assessment (ASCA) Pilot, which is intended to improve the efficiency of conformity assessment in device reviews. Each session will provide a presentation followed by a moderated question-and- answer session with a FDA-staffed panel.
