# Celgene Reports Positive Data in Multiple Sclerosis Trial

Celgene says its Phase 3 RADIANCE trial met its primary endpoint in evaluating the efficacy and safety of ozanimod in patients with relapsing multiple sclerosis. The investigational oral, selective S1P 1 and 5 receptor modulator met the primary endpoint in reducing annualized relapse rate compared to weekly interferon (Avonex). The trial also met key secondary endpoints of the number of new or enlarging T2 MRI lesions over 24 months of treatment compared to Avonex and the number of gadolinium-enhancing MRI lesions at 24 months of treatment compared to Avonex, the company says. An NDA could be filed by the end of the year.
