CHD Wants Probe of FDA Actions on Pfizer Vaccine

Children’s Health Defense (CHD) says Congress should investigate FDA’s failure to look into a whistleblower’s allegations about issues with a Pfizer contractor (Ventavia) testing the company’s Covid-19 vaccine. The allegations of poor research practices were aired in an 11/2 BMJ article.

CHD president and general counsel Mary Holland also says in a statement that members of the FDA Vaccines and Related Biological Products Advisory Committee “have extensive ties with the same drug companies that manufacture the vaccines they vote upon. It’s obvious from their voting records that their allegiance is to pharma and not to the health of our nation’s children.”

CHD says the threats posed by Covid vaccines to children’s health are significant considering that the Vaccine Adverse Events Reporting System (VAERS) received 856,919 reports of injuries following Covid vaccination, including 18,078 deaths from mid-December 2020 through 10/29. The statement does not list how many children have been vaccinated or the percentage of adverse events compared to the total number of vaccinations.

Note: On 11/10 VAERS reported that between 12/14/20 and 11/8 more than 432 million doses of Covid vaccines had been administered to all eligible age cohorts in the U.S., with 9,549 reports of death (0.0022%). “A review of available clinical information, including death certificates, autopsy, and medical records, has not established a causal link to Covid-19 vaccines,” it says.

“Congress needs to prioritize an investigation of FDA’s mishandling of red flags raised by the former Ventavia employee as well as the conflicts of interest at play on the advisory committee,” Holland says. “Tens of millions of children will get this vaccine and many will be subject to mandates in order to attend school. The citizens of this country need to know how this failure was allowed to occur and what steps are now being taken to correct the oversight.”

CHD describes itself as a “non-profit organization whose mission is to end childhood health epidemics by working aggressively to eliminate harmful exposures, hold those responsible accountable, and establish safeguards to prevent future harm.”
