*Federal Register* notice: FDA has classified the balloon aortic valvuloplasty catheter into Class 2 (special controls). The classification decision is based on a 2008 request from NuMED for classification of the NuCLEUS–X Percutaneous Transluminal Valvuloplasty Catheter.
