Comments on Unapproved Animal Drugs for Minor Species Listing

Federal Register notice: FDA is seeking comments on an information collection extension on its “Index of Legally Marketed Unapproved New Animal Drugs for Minor Species — 21 CFR part 516.” Section 572 of the Food, Drug & Cosmetic Act provides for a public index listing of legally marketed unapproved new animal drugs for minor species. The agency’s regulations specify the criteria and procedures for requesting eligibility for indexing and for requesting additions to the index, as well as the annual reporting requirements for index holders.
