Comments Sought on 8 Drugs for WHO Scheduling

Federal Register notice: FDA is seeking comments concerning abuse potential, actual abuse, medical usefulness, trafficking, and impact of scheduling changes on availability for medical use of eight drug substances. The following six substances are under critical review by the WHO because it is believed they are clandestinely manufactured and a serious risk to public health:

Bromazolam
Flubromazepam
Butonitazene
3-Chloromethcathinone (3-CMC)
Dipentylone
2-fluorodeschloroketamine (2-FDCK)

The other two substances are under a WHO pre-review to determine whether current information justifies an expert committee critical review. They are:

Nitrous oxide
Carisoprodol
