Comments Sought on FDA’s Focus Group Use

Federal Register notice: FDA is seeking comments on an information collection on “Focus Groups as Used by the Food and Drug Administration (all FDA-regulated products).” The agency wants feedback on whether focus groups are necessary and recommendations to ways to enhance the quality, utility, and clarity of the information to be collected through such groups. The agency says that focus groups are necessary to obtain patient and consumer information that is useful for developing variables and measures for quantitative studies, among other reasons.
