# Comments Sought on Generic Drug Program Fees

FDA is seeking information and comments (see FDA [notice](https://s3.amazonaws.com/public-inspection.federalregister.gov/2017-00081.pdf?ref=fdaweb.com)) about how it plans to administer generic drug program fees beginning in fiscal year 2018 (10/1). Under the user fee program, a fee will be assessed under a three tier system based on application holders:

- Large (companies with 20 or more approved ANDAs)
- Medium (companies with between six and 19 approved ANDAs)
- Small (companies with five or fewer approved ANDAs)

FDA requests comments and information on its initial inventory of approved ANDA sponsors and application numbers. A current spreadsheet containing this initial inventory and instructions on how to use it are available at http://www.fda.gov/ForIndustry/UserFees/GenericDrugUserFees/default.htm.
