Comments Sought on Generic Drug Program Fees

FDA is seeking information and comments (see FDA notice) about how it plans to administer generic drug program fees beginning in fiscal year 2018 (10/1). Under the user fee program, a fee will be assessed under a three tier system based on application holders:

Large (companies with 20 or more approved ANDAs)
Medium (companies with between six and 19 approved ANDAs)
Small (companies with five or fewer approved ANDAs)

FDA requests comments and information on its initial inventory of approved ANDA sponsors and application numbers. A current spreadsheet containing this initial inventory and instructions on how to use it are available at http://www.fda.gov/ForIndustry/UserFees/GenericDrugUserFees/default.htm.
