# Comments Sought on WHO Drug Scheduling Recommendations

*Federal Register* notice: FDA is seeking comments on recommendations by the World Health Organization to impose international manufacturing and distributing restrictions on certain drug substances. The comments received in response to the notice will be considered in preparing the U.S.’s position on these proposals for an April meeting of the United Nations Commission on Narcotic Drugs in Vienna, Austria. The following recommendations were provided by the WHO’s Expert Committee on Drug Dependence:

- Substance recommended to be added to Schedule I of the 1961 Convention — Isotonitazene
- Substances recommended to be added to Schedule II of the 1971 Convention — Cumyl-Pegaclone; MDMB-4en-Pinaca; 3-Methoxyphencyclidine, and; Diphenidine
- Substances recommended to be added to Schedule IV of the 1971 Convention: —Clonazolam; Diclazepam, and; Flubromazolam
