Comments Sought on Xenotransplantation Guideline

Federal Register notice: FDA is seeking comments on an information collection extension entitled “PHS Guideline on Infectious Disease Issues in Xenotransplantation” (OMB Control Number 0910-0456). The guideline identifies general principles for preventing and controlling infectious diseases associated with xenotransplantation that may pose a risk to public health. It also recommends procedures to diminish the risk of transmission of infectious agents to the xenotransplantation product recipient and to the general public. To view the notice, click here.
