Complete Response Letter on Elite Pharma Pain Drug NDA

FDA has issued Elite Pharmaceuticals a complete response letter (CRL) on its NDA for SequestOx (oxycodone hydrochloride and naltrexone hydrochloride), an investigational abuse-deterrent opioid candidate for managing moderate to severe acute pain where the use of an opioid analgesic is appropriate. The company says that FDA determined the NDA was not ready for approval in its present form. “We are evaluating the CRL received and hope to meet as soon as possible with the FDA to discuss how to address their concerns,” the company says.
