Corrigan-Curray Named CDER Principal Deputy Director

CDER director Patrizia Cavazzoni has named Jacqueline Corrigan-Curray to the newly-created position of principal deputy Center director. Since February, Corrigan-Curray has been CDER acting deputy Center director for operations and director of the Office of Medical Policy (OMP).

Cavazzoni says she has worked on implementing medical policy programs and strategic initiatives for real-world evidence, drug labeling, prescription drug promotion, clinical trial oversight, and innovative trial design through OMP over the last five years.

She holds a law degree and a medical degree.

Cavazzoni also announced that M. Kahir ElZarrad will serve as acting director of OMP.
