Court Orders Halt to Covid Silver Product Sales

The Utah federal court has issued a temporary restraining order to stop two companies and their owner from selling silver products for the treatment and prevention of Covid-19. A Justice Department statement says the injunction was entered against Gordon Pedersen, Cedar Hills, UT, and his companies My Doctor Suggests and GP Silver.

A separate court order temporarily freezes the defendants’ assets to preserve the court’s ability to grant effective final relief and to maintain the status quo, the statement says. A hearing on the government’s request for a preliminary injunction is scheduled for 5/12.

The complaint says the defendants started in early 2020 to make a wide variety of false and misleading claims touting silver products as a Covid-19 preventive.
