Covid Vaccine Nixed for Children/Pregnant Women

HHS is removing CDC Covid-19 vaccine recommendations for healthy children and healthy pregnant women from the agency’s recommended immunization schedule. In a post on X, HHS secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr., FDA commissioner Marty Makary and NIH director Jay Bhattacharya complained that the Biden administration urged the vaccines in these populations despite the lack of any clinical data to support the repeat booster strategy.

Bhattacharya said removing the recommendations is “common sense and it’s good science.” Makary noted that there’s no evidence healthy kids need it today, and most countries have already stopped recommending it for healthy children.

No CDC officials appeared in the video, presumably because the agency presently does not have a Senate-confirmed director.
