# CVM Approves 4 Virginiamycin NADAs in Chickens

FDA’s Center for Veterinary Medicine (CVM) said 2/1 it had [approved four NADAs](http://www.fda.gov/downloads/AnimalVeterinary/Products/ApprovedAnimalDrugProducts/UCM539323.pdf?source=govdelivery&utm%5Fmedium=email&utm%5Fsource=govdelivery) for virginiamycin products submitted by Phibro Animal Health Corp. and Huvepharma EOOD for administration in feed to broiler and fryer chickens. They were among 11 actions, including two suitability petitions, taken by CVM during January. The three Phibro approvals were for prevention of necrotic enteritis and the Huvepharma approval was for prevention of coccidiosis.
