Debarment Order Against Edward Manookian

Federal Register Notice:FDA has issued a debarment order against Edward Manookian (also known as Ed Manning) based on a finding that he was convicted of felonies under federal law for conduct relating to marketing and distributing unapproved drugs in the U.S. Manookian was the president and owner of Melanocorp, Inc., a for-profit corporation that produced and distributed Melanotan II, a peptide, or series of amino acids, that was marketed, sold, and shipped by Melanocorp to customers as an injectable tanning product.
