Diversity Action Plans Information Collection

Federal Register notice: FDA is seeking comments on an information collection entitled “Diversity Action Plans (DAPs) for Clinical Studies.” The collection supports Sections 3601 and 3602 of the Food and Drug Omnibus Reform Act of 2022 that stipulates that a DAP must include the sponsor’s goals for enrollment in the clinical study disaggregated by race, ethnicity, sex, and age group of clinically relevant study populations, the sponsor’s rationale for those goals, including sufficient information and analysis to explain how the goals were determined, and an explanation of how the sponsor intends to meet such goals.
