FDA has released a draft guidance on “Current Good Manufacturing Practice for Medical Gases.” The agency says the document was mandated under the FDA Safety and Innovation Act to provide additional guidance on GMP regulations to reduce the regulatory compliance burden for the medical gas industry. It is intended to cover detailed recommendations on GMP issues that have been the subject of industry questions. The draft supersedes the previous draft guidance “Good Manufacturing Practice for Medical Gases” issued 5/2003.
