FDA and the Duke-Margolis Center for Health Policy published 12/15/21 the summary of a 10/2019 workshop “Enhancing the Accessibility and Utility of Drug Interaction Information in Prescription Drug Labeling.” The summary highlights the discussion of workshop participants about challenges in managing drug interactions in the clinical setting and their input on how best to communicate drug interaction information in prescribing information.

The document says the meeting participants were academic physicians, retail and clinical pharmacists, nurse practitioners, academic researchers, drug database publishers, drug developers, informaticists, and FDA representatives.
