DynoSense Cloud-based Vital Signs Monitor Cleared

FDA has cleared a DynoSense 510(k) for its Vital Signs Measuring System, a cloud-based measuring and recording platform. The device captures electrocardiogram, respiration rate, oral body temperature, functional oxygen saturation of arterial hemoglobin, optical photoplethysmogram for pulse rate, and heart rate data. The company says it wirelessly communicates with any smart mobile phone operating the company’s DynoLife application or a third-party customized application and sends the raw data to the cloud for computation. Additionally, DynoSense offers patients “clinically-based insights” under its Health Relationship Management Services software, which allows healthcare specialists to “aggregate and interpret health data and information to create actionable, personalized and timely individualized health care plans,” the company says.
