FDA has cleared an ETS Wound Care 510(k) for the Mirragen Advanced Wound Matrix for use in treating acute and chronic wounds. The resorbable borate glass matrix device comprises fibers and beads proven to be effective in wound care management, according to the company. It is designed to be packed into wounds to manage and control wound fluids, while the resorbable matrix provides an environment for wound healing.
