Evofem Biosciences says it is ending the development of its EVO100 to prevent chlamydia and gonorrhea infection in women. Company officials said they believe the trial results would have been different in a non-Covid environment due to the recommendations for physical distancing, individual and household quarantines, and clinical visits for health emergencies only.
