# Ex-CDER Compliance Head Schnedar Joins Greenleaf

> Former CDER Office of Compliance director **Cynthia Schnedar** has joined consulting firm Greenleaf Health as the group’s new regulatory compliance executive vice president. Schnedar resigned earlier this month, with her departure coming three months after she was recused from working on substantive issues relating to compliance actions and policy because her husband, **Mark Polston**, had been named an equity partner at King and Spalding ([see earlier story](http://fdaweb.com/login.php?sa=v&aid=D5134341&searchWords=office%20of%20compliance&cate=S&stid=%241%248J4.vm3.%24jVVFmFCEBaR07icwj0Uje%2F&ref=fdaweb.com)).

> At Greenleaf, Schnedar joins several former FDA officials including former FDA chief of staff and current Greenleaf president **Patrick Ronan**, former CDRH director **Daniel Schultz**, former associate commissioner for regulatory affairs **Michael Chappell**, and former CDRH 510(k) staff director **Heather Rosecrans**.

He has experience at three international law firms assisting clients in FDA matters.
