# Ex-FDA Lawyer McConagha Moves to Skadden

Former FDA attorney **William McConagha** has moved from Sidley Austin to Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom as health care litigation and enforcement practice partner in Washington, DC. After spending 17 years at FDA, McConagha joined Sidley in 2012 as a partner.

At FDA, McConagha served in various positions, including assistant commissioner and senior attorney in the Office of Chief Counsel. At Skadden, he will advise pharmaceutical, medical device, biotech, and food and tobacco companies on government and internal investigations, FDA regulatory requirements and enforcement issues, litigation and corporate transactions, the law firm says. McConagha joins at Skadden former fellow FDA lawyer **Karen Corallo**, who joined the group in 3/2019 from Greenburg Traurig.
