Expiration Date Extended for 42 Cutaquig Lots

FDA says the expiration date for 42 lots of Octapharma Produktionsges’ Cutaquig immune globulin, subcutaneous (human)-hipp 16.5% solution can be extended from 24 to 36 months when stored at a cooler temperature under conditions specified in the agency notice. FDA says the 42 lots covered by the new expiration date were manufactured and distributed in 2019-2020. Future lots will be labeled according to the new dating period, it says.

The notice says Cutaquig is indicated for treating primary immune deficiency. The six-month shelf life for Cutaquig stored at room temperature is unchanged, FDA says.
