# Extradited Israeli Faces Sentencing on Drug Distribution

A decade-old, FDA-investigated case involving the unlicensed wholesale distribution of prescription drugs by Israeli citizen **Boaz BenMoshe** is finally coming to a close with his extradition to the U.S. and a sentencing date now scheduled for 4/1\. [According to the government](https://www.fda.gov/inspections-compliance-enforcement-and-criminal-investigations/press-releases/israeli-national-pleads-guilty-bail-jumping?ref=fdaweb.com), in 2009 BenMoshe pled guilty to conspiracy to engage in unlicensed wholesale distribution of prescription drugs. He subsequently moved to Israel and failed to appear for his sentencing hearing. BenMoshe’s 4/1 sentencing will also address a guilty plea for bail jumping entered last month.
