# FDA Accepts Coherus Bio BLA for Humira Biosimilar

FDA has accepted for review a Coherus BioSciences BLA for CHS-1420, a biosimilar to AbbVie’s Humira (adalimumab), indicated for treating rheumatoid arthritis, juvenile idiopathic arthritis (four years and older), psoriatic arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, adult Crohn's disease, ulcerative colitis and plaque psoriasis. FDA has set a user fee review action in December. If approved, Coherus says it plans to launch the product (XXX SUBSTITUTE XX) in the U.S. on or after 7/1/2023 under the terms of an agreement with AbbVie.
