FDA Advises Phase 3 Trial for ERC-USA’s ERC Glioblastoma Vaccine

FDA has recommended an early termination for a ERC-USA and University of California, Irvine, Phase 2 trial of ERC 1671 (Gliovac or Sitoiganap) for treating glioblastoma and recommended that the parties pursue a confirmatory Phase 3 registration trial to support a BLA application. ERC-USA says the agency advice is “a major advance for the clinical development of ERC 1671, a cell-based immunotherapy currently under development for the treatment of recurrent glioblastoma for which there are no effective available treatments.”
