# FDA Approves New Zoll Monitor/Defibrillator

FDA has approved a Zoll Medical PMA for Zenix, the company’s newest monitor/defibrillator, which it says is designed to streamline emergency and hospital care. The device features a large touchscreen and customizable settings that allow healthcare professionals to adjust functions in real time.

Among its key features are said to be Zoll’s Real BVM Help and Real CPR \[cardiopulmonary resuscitation\] Help technologies, which deliver real-time feedback on ventilation and CPR quality. These tools are intended to help clinicians and EMS teams make informed decisions and maintain high standards of patient care, the company says.
